&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;It &lt;em&gt;really &lt;/em&gt;is this&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;strong&gt; simple…. &lt;/strong&gt;but nobody said it’s easy.  Planning is your best friend in health and in business.  Schedule, schedule, schedule!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Sleep is &lt;em&gt;so &lt;/em&gt;important.  Studies have shown that if you are sleep deprived your hormones tend to be off.  Have you ever noticed when you’re tired, you’re more likely to look for comfort through food? That’s &lt;em&gt;not &lt;/em&gt;and accident! Additionally, when you’re tired you are less likely to be motivated to prepare your meals ahead of time or exercise.  Sleeplessness can be quite counterproductive.  Try to go to bed at the same time each night, power down the electronics at least one hour before bed time, dim the lights, ditch caffeine by 3:00, and try to rise at the same time each day.  &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Eat clean: you know the drill! Shop the perimeter of the store, try to buy organic when you can, keep your foods simple, look for items that don’t need an ingredients list, eat lean proteins, whole grains (if you do grains), and keep your diet heavy on the veggies.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Water: drink half your body weight in ounces - add more for hot weather or sweaty activities.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Exercise: some is always better than none.  Try for at least three days per week, but preferably five days.  &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;REPEAT! Consistency is key!&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;A healthy lifestyle is merely a series of habits.  Over time they become as natural as brushing your teeth - you feel GROSS if you don’t do it! Keep yourself organized so you don’t feel stressed out about adding these activities to your schedule.  Use a planner or your cell phone to help you keep a To-Do List.  Make out your list either the night before or first thing in the morning and include at least two items that will help you with your health and fitness, the items that you MUST do or there will be dire consequences, and two items that will propel you ahead in either your work or your schooling.  &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Really it comes down to the good old Nike philosophy: &lt;strong&gt;JUST DO IT!&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Still not sure this is right, but I like aiming for the 130s waaaay better than the 118 my doctor told me would be “healthy”. 1. Monday!- Ok. &lt;p&gt;1. &lt;strong&gt;Monday!&lt;/strong&gt;- Ok. So i know not all of us have cheat days…but they are usually on weekends right? Yeah. So your belly is still full with those cookies and that slice of pizza. So it’s normal for the scale to be a couple of pounds higher.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2. &lt;strong&gt;During the middle or end of the day&lt;/strong&gt;- Hello! You have been eating all day! You have already had breakfast, lunch or maybe even dinner! You haven’t digested all that food yet. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3. &lt;strong&gt;After a shower&lt;/strong&gt;- You are all wet. Now this won’t make the scale go up too much. Put if you see a pound or two more than before. Blame the shower.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;4. &lt;strong&gt;When you are on your period&lt;/strong&gt;- Girls. You are stressed, bloated, and for some reason 10 times hungrier on your period. Gaining 5 pounds or less when you are on your cycle is normal.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;5. Right after a workout&lt;/strong&gt;- Sometimes after you workout you think “I know i lost some pounds doing that!” Nope. Working out causes your muscles to &lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;retain&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; water. So the scale will lie and tell you that you have gained 3 pounds or even more.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;6.When you are having the least confidence in yourself&lt;/strong&gt;- Everybody has those days where they just hate the world. So getting on the scale might not be the best thing for you at the moment. That 105 could turn into 205 in 10 secs. *This doesn’t apply to everyone.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;So when is the best time to weigh yourself?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Right when you wake up. Use the bathroom…strip naked and wait for your results. This is the most accurate time to see how much you really weigh! Don’t weigh yourself everyday. The best day to weigh yourself is Tuesday or Wednesday. Remember, The scale weighs EVERYTHING in your body. Not just fat. So if you have been hitting the weights or have become familiar with strength training. Do not worry if your scale goes up. As long as you are healthy. It shouldn’t matter!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;A well known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $20 bill. In the room of 200, he asked. “Who would like this $20 bill?”&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Hands started going up. He said, “I am going to give this $20 to one of you - but first, let me do this.” &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He proceeded to crumple the 20 dollar note up. He then asked. “Who still wants it?” Still the hands were up in the air.&lt;/p&gt;
